Community Organizations Active in Disaster
When disaster strikes...lives, homes, communities and businesses may be damaged or destroyed. Those affected often need substantial short-term and long-term support to put their lives back together. Community organizations, working in coordination with government first responders, provide vital assistance. Nonprofits and faith-based organizations have come together to form Sioux Empire Community Organizations Active In Disaster (COAD) to make sure Sioux Falls area residents will get the assistance they need during a disaster.
